Our client, an independent health care charity, has an opportunity for a project assistant to join its team in Sheffield. This is a 18-month fixed-term contract.

You will be joining a telephone based project designed to improve patient care in areas lacking care provision. Making use of cloud server technology you will assist in the delivery of services, sharing of information and provision of equipment to care teams.

The project’s main aim is to better quip care staff with the necessary information and equipment to provide a high standard of care for patients in their residences. You will help facilitate these aims by taking the initiative, demonstrating solid interpersonal and organisational skills and making use of MS Office packages including Excel and PowerPoint.

Project management and administration experience is required as well as skills in audit, data collection and record keeping. Good time management and communication skills are also essential.

Bank Reconciliation Team Leader (Initial 7 Month Contract Position)

We are assisting a national law firm to recruit an experienced, motivated and committed Bank Reconciliation Team Leader to join their Accounts Department, initially covering a period of maternity leave.

Working as Team Leader, you will have bank reconciliation experience in a high volume, multi-bank account environment as well as having demonstrable experience of leading and supervising teams. In this varied role, you will work to ensure that all bank reconciliations, monthly and weekly reporting and cash management calculations are carried out in line with SRA Accounts Rules, Firm’s policy and agreed SLAs as well as ensuring that calculations made by your team are accurate and up-to-date.

As the successful candidate you will have good knowledge of the Solicitors Accounts Rules enabling you to be able to ensure that all reporting is fully compliant and accurate bank account listings are maintained. You will also be able to manage and maintain unidentified receipts accounts in line with the SRA Accounts Rules regulations.

Team leader responsibilities include performance and absence management, undertaking performance appraisals and coaching and mentoring.

Other responsibilities within the role will include; maintaining up to date and accurate cash management processes to ensure adequate account funding, processing of returned unpaid cheques and out of date cheques, calculating daily figures and intra account transfers as well as reconciliation of petty cash.

Due to the size and stability of the firm there is a strong likelihood of the role developing beyond the initial term of the maternity contract.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Bid Executive to join the award winning sales and marketing department of a leading, national law firm for an initial 6 month fixed term contract.

Duties of the role include:

• Producing appropriate bid material across the firm for the final bid submission document within the specified submission date and time.
• Liaising with external stakeholders on a daily basis and contributing and supporting the business with client presentations.
• Producing well written, grammatically accurate text and effectively proof-reading documents
• Research potential clients effectively to learn about their plans, key information and values to ensure bid responses can be tailored to clients needs
• Submitting bids via portals and ensuring all bids are recorded on the CRM system

Suitable candidates will have advanced IT skills, ideally with understanding of Project Management Systems (Prince 2, APMP). Candidates must demonstrate enthusiasm, commitment and be a strong team player.
