You will be joining an established and well-regarded department which deals with the full range of contentious matters including probate claims, claims under the 1975 ACT and TOLATA, and disputed trusts.

You will be working for two Contentious Probate Solicitors and will require excellent copy and audio typing skills. It is essential that you enjoy working in a busy environment and you should demonstrate excellent client care skills. Duties include closing files, file organisation, diary management and communicating with clients, face to face and over the telephone.
The right candidate will have the ability to forge close working relationships with colleagues and clients and you should be flexible when working for other solicitors in the department.

Key skills and experience
Fast, accurate typing with a minimum speed of 50 wpm.
Experience ideally at a reputable firm in Contentious Probate, Wills and Probate or Litigation.
Ability to draft non-legal correspondence.
Ability to manage and organise large volumes of documents.
Confident in use of email and other systems in daily work.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of BigHand digital dictation.
